The shift that changed everything

It was never about being brave enough. It was about ending the negotiation.

For years, every day began with a debate. Should I eat breakfast? Compensate later? Cope with recovery today, or pull back? I knew exactly what recovery asked of me, yet negotiated with it constantly.

What finally changed wasn't finding more courage. It was deciding I was going to choose recovery, then committing to stay recovered for a year before I'd even consider going back. It was my one-year recovery commitment. The ED was still allowed to scream — it just wasn't allowed to make the decisions.

I stopped questioning whether I could manage recovery that day, and started asking myself what someone who had chosen recovery would do next. Then I did that, regardless of anything else.

She listens and understands me in a way no previous treatment or therapist have — because she has been through it herself. The perfect support and accountability I needed.

What recovery gives back

Not a smaller life with better rules.
A bigger life with no rules.

Recovery was never about tolerating a more manageable version of the eating disorder. It's about releasing the eating disorder altogether, and reclaiming your life.

Questions

Common questions.

Are you a therapist or dietitian?

I'm an eating disorder recovery coach. I have a BSc (Hons) in Psychology and specialist eating disorder training, but coaching is not psychotherapy, medical treatment or dietetic care. Many clients work with me alongside a GP, therapist or dietitian.

Do I need to feel ready?

No. Waiting to feel completely ready is one of the things that keeps people stuck. Some willingness to practise doing things differently matters far more than feeling ready.

I've tried recovery before. What's different here?

You're not alone! The focus here isn't more information: it's turning what you already know into repeated action, and working out what keeps getting in the way.

How much does it cost?

1:1 coaching is £249/month fortnightly, £399/month weekly, or £649/month intensive · one-off Reset Session £149 · RESET Recovery Course £47. Full details on the Work with me page.

Which support option is right for me?

If you want to work through the material independently, look at the RESET Recovery Course. If you have a specific sticking point, start with the one-off Reset Session. And if you want the most personalised, immersive and ongoing support, 1:1 coaching is the deepest way to work together. Book a free clarity call to explore the options and find your best fit.
