Not your typical recovery programme

If you've “tried everything”, start here.

  • Another course telling you to “just eat” or “just love yourself”
  • A meal plan and a set of rules to live by
  • A quick fix that skips the uncomfortable parts

If you're exhausted from constantly negotiating with the eating disorder, tired of every meal feeling like a battle, and ready to stop merely surviving and start actually living, you're in the right place.

What I offer isn't just another generic workbook to complete. It's a clear path to freedom that fits into your real life. It's built around changing the patterns that keep you stuck, guiding you through the hard parts, and giving you the tools to keep going even when the ED gets loud.

Imagine

Breakfast is simply breakfast.

You choose what sounds good. You eat it. You enjoy it. Then you move on with your day. You meet friends without checking the menu three days in advance. You listen to your hunger instead of hundreds of external rules. You feel alive. Free. It is possible.

  • You spend less time arguing with the eating disorder
  • Hunger and fullness become signals you can trust again
  • Fear foods become freedom foods
  • Eating becomes more flexible and less exhausting
  • You build coping strategies outside of food and movement
  • You rebuild value, identity and meaning beyond the ED

Before you choose

The practical questions

What working together actually looks like, week to week.

What if I miss a session?

Give me 24 hours' notice and we'll move it to a time that suits you better. Less than that and the session is used, because the slot was held for you. If something urgent comes up and you can't give enough notice, tell me and I'll make an exception.

Is WhatsApp 24/7?

Not quite, but close. I don't use an AI bot, and I can't reply while I'm asleep or in a client call. That said, I aim to get back to you as soon as I can, often within the hour. If you're at risk, contact your GP, your local emergency services or a crisis line.

Can I change how often we meet?

Yes — I build support around you rather than a rigid one-size-fits-all. Plenty of people start fortnightly and move to weekly once it feels manageable, or start twice-weekly for a kickstart before easing off.

Do I have to use the course?

No. I bring the relevant sections and tools into our sessions, and share them alongside your post-session summary when they're useful. You only work through the full course independently if you want to.

What happens after the first month?

We review progress together. If momentum is building, we keep going. If the frequency doesn't feel right, we change it — and tell me if part of the support isn't working, or if something is helping and you want more of it. We're a team on this, and you're not navigating it alone.

Am I “sick enough” for coaching?

If food takes up more of your life than you'd like, that's enough. More than enough. You don't need to be in crisis to deserve support.

Who this is for

Most of the women I work with are in quasi-recovery: functioning on the outside, stuck on the inside.

This is for you if…

  • You're ready to stop letting the ED call the shots
  • You want your world to feel bigger
  • You're willing to practise doing things differently
  • You want support from someone who understands both the psychology and the messy day-to-day reality
  • You're ready to invest in the version of you that exists beyond the ED

It's probably not the right fit if…

  • You aren't currently open to recovery or change
  • Your goal is to lose weight or hold onto the eating disorder
  • You're looking for a quick fix that skips the deeper work
  • You won't practise the tools between sessions

You don't need to feel confident or fearless before you start — that's part of what support is for. You just need to be willing to take the first step.

Stay accountable

From women who've done it

What clients say.

★★★★★
Hanne has been a god-sent. She listens and understands me in a way no previous treatment or therapist have — because she has been through it herself. The perfect support and accountability I needed.
Sarah · France
★★★★★
So understanding from square one. She helped me reframe my mindset and was always there for support — my family have noticed how much better I am at handling situations.
