Media, books & research
The coach who wrote the research.
Recovery coaching grounded in published science, lived experience and ten years of practice — for people who want more than motivation.
Published research
Evidence, not just experience.
Most recovery coaches can't point to peer-reviewed work. I can — as first author.
Arts, H., Lemetyinen, H., & Edge, D. (2019). Readability and quality of online eating disorder information — are they sufficient? A systematic review evaluating websites on anorexia nervosa using DISCERN and Flesch Readability. International Journal of Eating Disorders, 53(1), 128–132.

Also the author of three books on recovery: Just Perfect (2014), Red Ribbons (2017), and a contribution to The Recovery Letters (2017).
Why it matters
Lived experience, held to a research standard.
Most coaches have one or the other: lived experience, or evidence. I bring both together — published research into eating disorder information quality, plus over ten years helping people actually recover.
That shapes how I coach: the tools I use are informed by the science, then tested in real life with real clients. Not trend-led, not one-size-fits-all.
